A grading shortcut

Beverly Horvit | Texas Christian University

I believe in giving lots of quizzes and homework, but I don't have time to grade everything.

On some assignments, particularly tricky ones, I'll put the students in groups of three the day the assignment is due and let them compare answers and turn in collective homework. With a class of 15, that means I'll only have five papers to grade.
